Claremont, NH – Wastewater Treatment Facility Sludge Dewatering

Upgrades to the sludge dewatering system at the City of Claremont’s Wastewater Treatment Facility including the replacement of the existing belt filter presses and associated equipment with new dewatering centrifuges, conveyors, dewatering sludge grinders and pumps, polymer blending units, and associated process components. The dewatering equipment, including the centrifuges, conveyors, grinders, dewatering pumps, and polymer blending units, have been pre-purchased by the City and will be furnished to contractor for construction of upgrades. The project also includes Bid Alternates for replacement of one primary sludge pump in the WWTF Headworks and the demolition of wash water pumps and associated process components in the Operations Building. Also included are select architectural, structural, HVAC/plumbing, and electrical and controls improvements.
