In accordance with Class Deviation 2026-O0017 – Revolutionary Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Overhaul Part 6, Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS) Part 206, the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Northwestern Divsion (NWD) intends to procure Emerson governor products and services on a Sole Source basis from Emerson Process Management Power & Water Solutions, Inc., 200 Beta Dr, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 15238. Emerson's products and services are necessary to support Walla Walla (NWW), Seattle (NWS), Portland (NWP), and Omaha Districts' (NWO) hydroelectric operating projects, which require Emerson's custom pump gears, custom unloaders, programmable logic controller (PLC) software, and bearing packs as well as onsite commissioning, programming, training, and troubleshooting services. USACE NWW, NWS, NWP, and NWO powerhouses' existing governors were designed and installed by American Governor Company (AGC), which was acquired by Emerson in 2020, including all proprietary information related to operating, maintaining, and repairing the governors.
This notice of intent is not a formal solicitation or request for competitive proposals. No solicitation document is available and requests for such a document will not be honored. No award will be made on the basis of offers received in response to this notice.
