  1. PURPOSE



This Special Notice is issued to provide awareness of the release of a Request for



Solutions (RFS) for an other transaction project in accordance with 10 U.S.C. 4022. The



RFS title Holloman High Speed Test Track (HHSTT) has been issued as part of the Strategic & Spectrum Missions Advanced Resilient Trust Systems (S2MARTS) consortium managed by National Security Technology Accelerator (NSTXL) and administered by the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division.

    1. PROJECT OVERVIEW





The Holloman High-Speed Test Track (HHSTT) needs innovative solutions to limit damage to existing support structures and improve braking capabilities, to support the development of hypersonic systems (offensive and defensive). The HHSTT prototyping efforts will seek to identify technologies and solutions, which may be

used to retain or improve the track strength, minimize maintenance procedures, minimize cost, improve the current capabilities, and provide valuable hands-on experience to the next generation of scientists and engineers.
