This bid includes the following Work:

Remodel and reconfigure existing restrooms for ADA compliance at the Johnson County Adult Residential Center Programs Building (ARCP) , including all materials, labor, equipment, supervision, and any and all other items necessary to complete the Work.

A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held at the above time, at the Adult Residential Center Programs Building located at 141 Mission Drive, New Century, Kansas 66031. Representation is required by General/Prime Contractors to be eligible to submit a bid. Please gather at the front entrance.

Technical questions and requests for clarification shall be submitted electronically via IonWave no later than 5:00PM CT on December 12, 2025, to allow adequate time to issue an addendum, if needed.

BID BOND: Bidders shall submit with their bid a bid bond issued by a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Kansas in the amount of five percent (5.0%) of the total amount of their bid. Said guarantee shall be made payable to the Board of County Commissioners of Johnson County, Kansas.

No bid may be withdrawn within a period of sixty (60) days from the date of the bid opening.

The County reserves the right to award the contract to the lowest and best, responsive and responsible bidder for the work covered by the base bid and any approved alternates and to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities and informalities in any bid submitted.

No bidder shall in any way, directly or indirectly, discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment or any other person because of age, race, color, disability, sex, national origin or religious creed, or other circumstance prohibited by federal state or local law, rule or regulation.
