The Haverhill Housing Authority, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from Contractors for Floor Covering Services.
The estimated contract value is $90,000 for a one (1) year contract period with two (2) one (1) year options to renew at the discretion of the awarding authority.
All bids are subject to applicable bidding laws including, but not limited to M.G.L. c.149 subsection 44A (2)(B) & to State Prevailing Wage Rates as required by M.G.L. c. 149 subsections 26 to 27H inclusive.
Sealed bids will be received until 4:00 PM, Thursday, April 10, 2025
All bids should be submitted by mail or delivered to Haverhill Housing Authority, 25C Washington Square, PO Box 751, Haverhill, MA 01830 Attention: Dan Dellea, and received no later than the date & time specified above. Bids may not be emailed.
All bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the value of the total bid. Bid deposit shall be in the form of a bid bond, Treasurers check or Cashiers check issued by a responsible bank or trust company. Said deposit is to be the property of the Haverhill Housing Authority, if the bidder fails to execute the contract after he has been officially notified that the contract has been awarded to him.

All questions and request for interpretation must be received no later than five calendar days before the bid deadline and must be submitted in writing to dan@haverhillhousing.com. Requests for interpretations may be responded to via addendum, as determined by the Owner.
The Haverhill Housing Authority reserves the right to award and/or reject any or all proposals or to cancel this Invitation to Bid, if it is in best interest of the Housing Authority to do so.
