REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATION
PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING AND CONSULTING SERVICES
The Rio Grande City Economic Development Corporation (EDC) is requesting
sealed Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for Professional Engineering and Consulting
Services for the International Drive Project. The statement of qualifications will
be due Friday, February 6, 2026 at 11:00 AM at the City of Rio Grande City – City
Secretary’s Office located at City Hall at 5332 E. US Highway 83, Rio Grande City,
Texas 78582.
The RFQ Documents may be obtained at the City Secretary’s Office located in City
Hall at address: 5332 E. US Highway 83, Rio Grande City, Texas 78582 or at the city
website: www.cityofrgc.com under bid opportunity. For any questions you can

The sealed statements of qualifications are to be submitted in a sealed envelope
and/or package that is clearly labeled “RFQ #: 2026 - 02 – ENGINEERING
& CONSULTING SERVICES FOR THE INTERNATIONAL DRIVE PROJECT”. Any
qualifications received after closing time will be rejected and returned unopened.
The Rio Grande City EDC, reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any
informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by the City for a period not to exceed
60 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and
investigating the bidders’ qualifications prior to the contract award.
