Project Description: The Office of Student Disabilities is committed to providing all students with a comprehensive curriculum. A core component of this commitment is supporting students with disabilities in their transition from high school to post-secondary endeavors. OSD has identified the need for specialized, data-driven transition assessments designed to identify an individual's employment potential. This type of vocational training is crucial for students with disabilities, as it provides them with practical, real-world skills and experiences that directly contribute to successful post-secondary employment outcomes and increased independence, aligning with mandates such as the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) for comprehensive transition planning.
