Special Notice of Intent - Acquisition Support Services

THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO NEGOTIATE A SOLE SOURCE FIRM FIXED PRICE BRIDGE REQUIREMENT. THIS NOTICE IS UNDER THE AUTHORITY OF FEDERAL ACQUISITION REGULATION (FAR) PART 8.405-6, LIMITING SOURCES. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES.

NAICS Code 541990, Amyx, Inc; business size standard is $19.5M.

The Defense Health Agency (DHA), Ft Sam Houston, TX intends to negotiate a sole source contract extension to Amyx, Inc, for Acquisition Support Services for a base period of performance beginning February 15, 2025, through August 14, 2025. The extension will include FAR 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services.

This will extend the current task order HT005019F0002 which was competed, to the new competed award, which was solicited on July 30, 2024, with proposals received on September 19, 2024, but is currently delayed. This extension is to continue providing acquisition support to Deputy Assistant Director for Acquisition (J-4), DHA and its two major functions comprised of the Component Acquisition Executive and Head of the Contracting Activity that include Program Management Office, Career Management, Acquisition, Planning Support Office, Systems Engineering, Agreements, Manager's Internal Control Program, Acquisition Policy, Test and Evaluation, Cost Estimating, Data Analytics and Metrics, Business Process Improvement, Business Operations Division, Procurement Policy, Acquisition Systems, Government Purchase Card, Quality Management, and administrative support services within the DHA.

This notice is not a request for a quotation. A solicitation document will not be issued, and quotations will not be requested.
