Project Description: The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UTHSA) is soliciting proposals from qualified vendors to provide a comprehensive secondary Laptop Insurance Protection Plan (the “Plan”) for students enrolled in the School of Dentistry. Dental students are required to own and use a laptop computer for academic coursework and clinical training throughout their program. The Plan is intended to supplement manufacturer warranties (including Apple’s standard warranty and Dell’s Complete Care Program) and any other existing protection programs by providing insurance coverage for accidental damage, loss, and theft of student-owned laptops. No Guarantee of Volume. UTHSA does not solicit or guarantee any specific amount of compensation, volume, minimum, or maximum amount of Services under this RFP or any contract or agreement resulting from this RFP.
