The National Park Service (NPS), Department of Interior (DOI), Cowpens National Battlefield Congaree National Park has a requirement for the following project; Replacement of HVAC System at Visitor Center, which is located at 4001 Chesnee Highway Gaffney, SC, within Cherokee County. The Government anticipates conducting a competitive acquisition for this requirement. The amount of interest or lack thereof will determine the possibility of a competitive set-aside or full and open competition. All firms should be registered and certified in the Systems for Awards Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov, in order to participate in this requirement. Payments will be made via Electronic Funds Transfer using the data within the SAM registration database.

Project Description (Scope);

Th primary objective of the project is to replace the HVAC System at the park visitor center. The work includes replacement of the unit with more efficient units, at the visitor center. Contractor will remove old unit and install a new unit. Replace additional accessory items as indicated on the specification, drawing and construction documents.

This requirement involves performing work as defined in the Statement of Work when the solicitation is issued. Detailed requirements and/or specifications will be listed within the solicitation and other attachments as required. A Firm Fixed Price award is contemplated from this solicitation with an award to the offeror(s) providing the best value, based on the evaluation criteria outlined in the solicitation once issued.

The solicitation, Request for Proposal (RFP) and its attachments will be issued electronically. Anticipated publish date: On or about 30 June 2025. The solicitation documents will be posted to SAM.gov | Contract Opportunities. The contracting office will not provide hardcopies or email copies of the solicitation.

Site Visit; Only one site visit will be offered for this opportunity, and the information shall be listed in the formal solicitation when it is published to SAM.gov.
