Description:

The City of Independence, Kansas, is inviting proposals for the service of monthly pest control at various City locations.

Bids will be received at the City Clerk’s Office, City Hall, 120 N. 6th Street, Independence, Kansas 67301, until 2:00 p.m. on December 19, 2024.

Bids received later than specified hour and date shall be returned unopened. Bids

must be marked on the outside envelope, “SEALED BID PEST CONTROL SERVICES – DO

NOT OPEN UNTIL DECEMBER 19, 2024”.

Bids will be opened at 2:00 p.m., December 19, 2024, in the Clerk’s Office.

The City reserves the right to reject or accept any or all bids/proposals and to waive any

irregularities in such bid/proposals and to accept such bids/proposals that are the most

responsive and best suit the needs of the City of Independence.

Proposals must be valid for 45 working days past December 19, 2024.

Qualifications:

The successful entity will provide proof of a City business license and commercial applicators license as required by law, to accomplish the required work. The selection process will be based on the proposal that provides the most benefit to the City of Independence at large.

Miscellaneous:

All submissions must be made on the attached proposal sheet. Failure to complete and return a signed proposal sheet will be cause for the proposal to be rejected.
The proposals must be submitted on the attached sheet and be submitted no later than 2:00 p.m., on Tuesday, December 19, 2024.
At said time and place, and promptly thereafter, all proposals that have been duly received will be publicly opened. Any proposal received after this time will be returned to the sender unopened. Please mail, fax or e-mai copies to the following address:
