The Naval Sea Systems Command has a requirement for an Extra Large Unmanned Undersea Vehicle (XLUUV) Lead Yard Support (LYS) contract. XLUUV LYS activities include system support for assemblies, subassemblies, components, repair parts, and spares for end-item systems and equipment subsequent to the delivery of the XLUUV Test Asset System (XLE0) and five XLUUV Systems (XLE 1 through 5) during the transition to a Navy organic sustainment capability. System support may include, but is not limited to development, engineering, maintenance and sustainment efforts.
This sole-source requirement will be solicited from The Boeing Company, 5301 Bolsa Ave, Huntington Beach, CA 92647-2048. Boeing is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the XLUUV systems and was awarded the design and development contract under a Joint Emergent Operational Need (JEON).
