As requested by the Transportation Management Services Department (hereinafter, the “Division or Department”), the Collier County Board of County Commissioners Procurement Services Division (hereinafter, “County”) has issued this Invitation to Bid (hereinafter, “ITB”) with the intent of obtaining bid submittals from interested and qualified Bidders in accordance with the terms, conditions and specifications stated or attached. The Bidders, at a minimum, must achieve the requirements of the Specifications or Scope of Work stated herein. All references to “Bidder” are also referred to as “Contractor” and “Vendor.”
The purpose of this solicitation is to provide services to the County to assist in the repair and/or installation of damaged roadway signs, if required, in the event of an officially declared emergency.
Stabilization and recovery services will be required on an irregular basis. Therefore, this Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract defines the requirements and guidelines for the requested emergency response services but does not authorize the Contractor(s) to provide nor commits Collier County to order such services until a valid Purchase Order, based on the agreed services and associated costs defined in the awarded contract, is issued to the awarded Contractor. As part of this awarded contract, Collier County and the Contractor agree to a current rate schedule for standard. The Contractor agrees to provide all required personnel, equipment, supplies, and materials as directed by the County. The Contractor must be capable of furnishing these resources, including crews and equipment configurations required for the applicable work category, possibly with little notice, and shall perform all work in accordance with applicable FDOT QPL Specifications and County requirements.
