Project Description: Barnstable County, Massachusetts (County) invites proposals from qualified vendors to monitor and maintain an existing groundwater extraction and treatment system (Remedial Systems) used to control and treat Per- and Poly-Fluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS)-impacted groundwater at the former Municipal Fire Training Facility (MFTF) located at 155 South Flint Rock Road, Barnstable (Hyannis), Massachusetts (Site). Specifically, the Remedial Systems consist of one groundwater extraction well (designated PRW-4), two groundwater quality treatment systems (designated GWTS-1 and GWTS-2), subsurface groundwater reinjection basins, and associated miscellaneous equipment and controls.
