RFP 26-05 – ADDENDUM NO. 1 WAN Access to Non-Fiber Connected Sites

RFP 26-05, is amended in the following particulars and in these particulars only. All provisions of

the original documents shall remain in force, except as specifically modified or changed herein or

by other Addendum issued by Bay District Schools. This Addendum is hereby made part of the

proposal documents.

This Addendum addresses questions from respondents submitted before the cutoff date. All

proposers are responsible for receiving and reading Addendums. All Addendums will be

posted at www.bay.k12.fl.us/bids and DemandStar.

1. Please confirm you are only looking for point to point connectivity between the two

sites listed in the RFP Attachment A.

Site 1: Margaret K Lewis, 203 N East Ave, Panama City, FL

Site 2: Nelson Building, 1311 Balboa, Panama City, FL

A: Yes, we are only needing a point to point connectivity between the two listed sites

2. Please confirm the expected bandwidth/throughput between the locations listed in

the RFP. Attachment A indicates two different bandwidths increments, 250Mbps for

Margeret K Lewis and 1000Mbps for the Nelson Building.

A: Yes. The expected bandwidth for this point-to-point connection only needs to be a

minimum of 250 mbps. The Attachment was a holdover from our current connection

where the provided equipment at the Nelson Building can only do a minimum of 1000

mbps. 250 mbps is acceptable.

Proposers are asked to acknowledge receipt of this Addendum by signing in the space

provided and return either separately or with their proposal response, no later than the

opening date of January 13, 2026.
