The East County AWP JPA, hereafter referred to as the JPA, is seeking quotes from a qualified, competent and experienced consulting firm to assist in-house staff to provide insurance consulting and brokerage services for:

A JPA owned and operated East County Advanced Water Purification Project.

The services, that are more fully detailed under the scope of services, shall include:

Analyze and make recommendations on insurance coverage and risk financing options for the newly completed East County Advanced Water Purification projects.
Coverage to include JPA administration and oversight, daily operations and property insurance coverage. Coverage does not include workers compensation.
Assist in the development of insurance specifications and competitively market lines of insurance
Provide updates and advice to the JPA on any legislative or industry trends that would affect its insurance program(s) or risk exposures.

This invitation to submit a proposal is NOT an authorization to approach any insurance market or insurance providers. The JPA specifically directs that no solicitation of insurance markets or insurance providers be made on behalf of the JPA.
