The Pennsylvania Game Commission (PGC) is soliciting electronic bids for supplying and
delivering 2 Pal<-Tyer 2000-22 Machines to be used to bundle and tie seedlings that are
aging and are not large enough to accommodate the larger seedlings grown at Howard
Nursery.
Two (2) Tying machines capable of:
22" space for materials being wrapped
Single wrap one way unit, left to right product flow
Set for 16 ply twine
Foot pedal operation
Factory supplied manual and spare parts
Freight, Installation assistance & Training
The above machines are described and specified. The materials are to be supplied and
delivered to the project site in Howard Township, Centre County. The scope of the project
includes supplying and delivering the two (2) Pak Tyer machines to the prepared project
site. Bids will be opened electronically in the PGC Division of Contracts and Procurement,
2001 Elmerton Avenue, Harrisburg, PA 17110-9797.
When bidding, amount Bid should be in dollars and cents-----no fractions of a cent will
be accepted.
Questions concerning project specifications and requirements should be directed to Brian
Stone, Manager/Supervisor Howard Nursery at 814-355-4434, ext. 31101. Any questions
concerning completion of the electronic bid should be directed to PGC-Contracts and
Procurement Division at 717-787-6594.
The Commonwealth reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive technical defects
in bids and to accept or reject any part of the bid deemed in the best interest of the
Commonwealth. Except as otherwise provided by law, award will be made to the lowest
responsive bidder. A Purchase Order will be generated at the time of award without further
input from the successful bidder.
