1. Introduction

The Essex County Land Bank (ECLB) , in partnership with state grant sources, is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to perform asbestos-in-place demolition of four residential properties located in Ticonderoga , Bloomingdale , North Elba , and Jay , New York. This project is funded by NYS (HCR) grant sources and must adhere to all relevant compliance requirements, including SEQRA (State Environmental Quality Review Act), as well as regulations from the Adirondack Park Agency (APA) and the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC) .

The first demolition will take place at the Ticonderoga site due to the unsafe condition of the structure.
