CITY OF CORTEZ – REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS (RFQ)
The City of Cortez invites qualified individuals, firms, collaborative groups, and teams to submit Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) for the development of housing on the eastern 7.01 acres of a 14.02 acre City-owned parcel located on the north side of West 7th Street between South Oak Street and South Chestnut Street in Cortez, Colorado.

Project Overview:
The RFQ seeks innovative proposals that align with the City’s goals to address housing shortages, enhance community connectivity, and promote sustainable development. The selected developer/builder will be expected to work closely with the City to develop a comprehensive vision for the site.
Submission Requirements:
Proposals should include:
· A Letter of Interest outlining the overall project vision and qualifications.
· A preliminary conceptual site plan detailing unit counts, layouts, and design features.
· An approach to community outreach, project management, and long-term maintenance.
· A detailed business plan including development schedule, cost estimates, and funding strategies.
