The program is designed to provide hands-on, project-based instruction that develops construction and woodworking skills, workforce readiness, career awareness, and practical industry knowledge.

The San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools ("SUPERINTENDENT") is soliciting sealed proposals from qualified
VENDORS to provide a comprehensive Construction & Woodworking Workforce Readiness Career Technical Education
(CTE) Program for students enrolled in SUPERINTENDENT Alternative Education programs. The program is designed to
provide hands-on, project-based instruction that develops construction and woodworking skills, workforce readiness,
career awareness, and practical industry knowledge.
The selected VENDOR shall provide all personnel, curriculum, instructional materials, equipment, tools, personal protective
equipment (PPE), consumable supplies, software, instructional technology, and all other resources necessary to deliver a
standardized, hands-on, project-based instructional program at approximately five (5) designated SUPERINTENDENT
instructional sites.
All proposals must be sealed and submitted to the Front Desk Receptionist, San Bernardino County Superintendent of
Schools, Attn: Procurement Services, 760 East Brier Drive, San Bernardino, California 92408. Sealed proposal envelopes
shall be clearly labeled on the outside in the lower left-hand corner with the VENDOR's company name and the following
statement: “RFP ENCLOSED: RFP 26.27.0590 – CONSTRUCTION & WOODWORKING WORKFORCE READINESS CTE PROGRAM."
It is the sole responsibility of the vendor to ensure proposal is delivered to the Front Desk Receptionist prior to the
established deadline, where it will be date and time stamped. Late proposals will not be accepted. Proposals shall remain
open, valid, and subject to acceptance for ninety (90) days following the proposal opening date.

Any questions regarding the proposal should be reduced to writing and emailed to Maria Aldaco, Procurement Specialist
at Bids@sbcss.net no later than 2:00 pm on August 26, 2026. Responses to questions and any resulting addenda will be
posted on the SUPERINTENDENT Procurement Services webpage. It is the sole responsibility of each proposer to
periodically check the Procurement Services webpage for any addenda or other updates issued prior to the proposal
due date. Failure to acknowledge receipt of all issued addenda may result in the proposal being deemed non-
responsive.
NO UNSEALED, FAXED OR EMAILED SUBMISSIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
