Wydown Boulevard Median Restoration

INVITATION TO BID

Sealed bids for the Wydown Boulevard Median Restoration Project will be received by the City of Clayton, 10 N. Bemiston Avenue, Clayton, MO 63105-3397, until 2:00 P.M. local time on Wednesday, October 14, 2026. The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud immediately following in City Hall Council Chambers, 2nd floor, 10 N. Bemiston Avenue, Clayton, MO 63105-3397.

The Scope of Work consists of restoration and reconstruction of the Wydown Boulevard median within the limits indicated on the Drawings, including site demolition and removals, protection of existing trees and improvements, grading and soil preparation, planting, turf, irrigation, site lighting, concrete and site furnishings, and related work required for a complete installation.

The Project is subject to applicable Federal/FEMA contracting requirements. Bidders and the successful Contractor shall comply with all federally required contractual provisions, certifications, procurement obligations, recordkeeping and documentation requirements, and contractor/subcontractor flow-down requirements included in the Contract Documents.

Bid packages will be available September 23, 2026 and can be requested using the link below.. An optional pre-bid meeting will be held October 5, 2026, 9:00 A.M., City Council Chambers, City Hall, 10 N. Bemiston Ave.

Not less than the prevailing hourly rate of wages shall be paid to all workers performing under this Contract in this area according to the rates determined by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations of the State of Missouri.

A bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Base Bid must accompany each bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.

The City reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and to waive any irregularities in the best interest of the City.
