The City of Augusta will accept sealed bids for three [3] 2025 or 2026 (NEW), AWD 4-Door
Ford Utility Police Interceptor-2 Marked (blk and white, doors & roof white), 1 Sterling
Gray, Agate Black, or Silver Gray, in accordance with the specifications enclosed. No bid will be
accepted after Friday December 5, 2025 at 11a.m., at which time they will be publicly opened.
Bidders will be required to complete the attached quotation form. A duplicate copy is furnished for
your files. Bidders are required to state any exception(s) to the specifications enclosed. Bidders are
also required to state specifically if warranty is limited in any manner.
The City of Augusta is exempt from paying Federal Excise Taxes, as well as State of Maine Sales
and Use Taxes. Please quote less these taxes. Upon application, exemption certificates will be
furnished.
Sealed bids are to be delivered to the Office of the Development Services-1st Floor (City Services),
16 Cony Street, Augusta, Maine 04330, in a plain envelope with the name of the bidder in the upper
left-hand corner and mark the envelope with “Bid No. 226016- [3] Ford Utility Police
Interceptors” prior to the date and hour specified for bid opening. No bid will be accepted after the
previously stated time and date. Telephone, telegraph, or facsimile bids will not be accepted.
The City of Augusta reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, or portions thereof, and
waive any technicalities or formalities should it be in the best interest of the City of Augusta. Prices
quoted shall be valid for 30 days following bid opening. Delivery to be made upon receipt of
purchase order and shall be FOB, Augusta Police Department, 7 Willow Street, Maine, 04330. Price
shall include a 30 day plate and State of Maine Certificate of Title or Certificate of Origin, which
shall be made out to City of Augusta, Maine and mailed to City of Augusta, Police Department, 7
Willow Street, Augusta, ME 04330-5298. Title application is to be delivered with vehicle.
