APEX Accelerators are an official government contracting resource for small businesses. Find your local APEX Accelerator (opens in new window) for free government expertise related to contract opportunities.
APEX Accelerators are funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the Department of Defense.
The APEX Accelerators program was formerly known as the Procurement Technical Assistance Program (opens in new window) (PTAP).
The ANGRC requires this Passive Optical Network (PON) equipment to modernize base infrastructure, ensuring secure, high-bandwidth, and highly reliable data transmission across both Unclassified (NIPR) and Secret (SIPR) enclaves. This hardware directly supports Command and Control (C2) and warfighting operations by increasing network capacity while reducing the physical footprint and power requirements of the base's IT infrastructure. The current system has EOL parts that are obsolete and leave the system liable for complete failure. See attached Parts List for product details. This is a brand name requirement see attached Tellabs justification and approval document.
