Description: The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) Depot Division has a requirement for the following hardware:
A. 10 Low Fidelity Virtual Reality (VR) Headsets – Stream A
B. 3 High Fidelity Virtual Reality (VR) Headsets – Stream B
Bidders may bid on either Stream A, B or both The RCMP intends to award up to two (2) contracts as a result of this solicitation.
Optional units may be ordered in accordance with Annex “B” – Basis of Payment:
C. 10 Low Fidelity Virtual Reality (VR) Headsets – Stream A
D. 5 High Fidelity Virtual Reality (VR) Headsets – Stream B
Security Requirements: There is no security applicable to this requirement.
Basis of selection: Mandatory Technical Criteria
1. The responsive bid providing both Streams of Virtual Reality Headsets (Stream A -Low Fidelity and Stream B High Fidelity) in one (1) proposal and has the lowest evaluated price (in Appendix B, Basis of Payment) will be recommended for award of contract; or
2. If no bids are able to fulfill the whole requirement (both Stream A and Stream B), the responsive bid of each Stream (A and B) with the lowest evaluated price (in Appendix B, Basis of Payment) will be recommended for award of contract

Green Procurement - Environmentally Preferable Packaging
Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) is committed to supporting the procurement of environmentally preferable plastic products and the reduction of plastic packaging waste, and is taking concrete steps to better manage the use and disposal of plastics in its own operations as per the Greening Government Strategy: A Government of Canada Directive, the Government of Canada actions on plastic waste in federal operations commitments, and the Ocean Plastics Charter. Environmentally preferable packaging specifications are mandatory requirements in this procurement.
The estimated contract period will be 15 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2024/12/16.
