Newport Township Landslip Repairs

NOTICE TO BIDDERS
ElectronicbidswillbereceivedbytheBoardofNewportTownshipTrusteesofWashingtonCounty,
Ohio via Bid Express until 9:30 a.m., Prevailing Local Time on the 6TH day of April, 2026 and will be
opened immediately thereafter for:
The furnishing of all services, labor, equipment and materials required for the landslip repairs on
T-530, T-418, T-637 in Newport Township, Washington County, OH.
Copies of the Construction Plans, Bidding Forms and Specifications on the Unit Price Contract
may be viewed via Bid Express. A copy of the ODOT specifications is available in the County Engineers
Office for review.
Contractors bidding on this project shall have experience in the area of work specified by
the pay item and experience in the specified repair method.
Each bid shall have filed with it a bid guaranty in the form of a certified check, cashier's check or
letter of credit revocable only at the option of Newport Township in the amount equal to 10% of the bid or
a bond in accordance with Division (b) Section 153.54 of the Revised Code.
The Board of Township Trustees reserve the right to increase or decrease any quantities, waive
anyinformalitiesortechnicalities,andmayrejectany/orallbidsasmaybedeemedtobeinthebestinterest
of Newport Township.
