Background

The OC Park’s Santiago Road property consists of open space (that is used for events and weddings, a maintenance yard, and trailers that are used for maintenance staff and storage. There is also an old Shed/Barn with wood structure and no walls.

There will be also a future office building. The future office building is not part of this project, however, the required power capacity and underground power and signed system conduits/pull boxes (for the future power/signal cables) shall be accounted for and included in this project.

Currently, there is no power service at this OC Parks, Santiago Canyon Road property. This project entails utility coordination and electrical installations to provide a new SCE service and electrical lines installed into the Augustine Staging Area at 5524 Santiago Canyon Road, Silverado, CA property. Since the area may be used for special events such as weddings and meetings, the SCE and electrical lines shall be installed underground. A new pad mounted utility transformer and a service switchgear with utility meter to be provided within the property, from there power to be distributed to the sub-panels as needed.

Additional underground and above ground installation to be provided for power distribution throughout the site, lighting fixtures and power outlets at the maintenance yard and open/event area. This includes, but is not limited to, installation of electrical equipment, concrete slabs, supports, grounding, bonding, underground conduit duck banks and pull boxes, cables, lighting fixtures, lighting control timer, and other electrical installations.

Electrical installations shall support the following loads:

• Power and lighting for the maintenance trailers, electrical tools and equipment, and lighting for the surrounding areas
• Power for the events audio system equipment and events lighting
• Power provisions and underground conduits for future LEVEL-2 EV chargers
• Power provision and underground conduits for future improvements at the existing barn structure
• Power provision and underground conduits for future office building

Project construction cost is estimated at approximately $640,000.00

LICENCES : Class-A is required in the performance of this project.

General Contractors shall perform and provide all adequate and competent labor, management, supervision, tools, and equipment to perform road work, structural work and storm drain work per the project’s plans, special provisions.
