Bid Synopsis: The scope of this procurement and resulting contract is to purchase the pickup and disposal of dead bear carcasses in the state highways and Interstate rights-of-way awarded by specific county. This contract will include a pool of potential contractors to service the state, if the need arises. During the anticipated five-year life of the contract, contractors will be monitored and removed for poor performance, they may choose not to renew their contract, or they withdraw from the contract due to other circumstances. Pool contractors will have a signed contract with the State, to provide CKB services as needed upon mutual agreement of the contractor and the State. Additional pool contractors may be added during the life of the contract to meet the state program needs only. This bid covers state highways and Interstates that are the responsibility of WisDOT.
