| Project Title: | Bandera Farms Equestrian Park Construction |
| Description: | Bandera Farms Park is a 120-acre site located along Bunch Road, I-73, and Reedy Fork Creek in Summerfield. The Town of Summerfield owns and stewards the site, which lies entirely within its boundaries. This future park is a key component of the planned Piedmont Greenway, a major regional trail expected to eventually connect Greensboro and Winston-Salem. Bandera Farms Park is being developed as a nature-based, equestrian-focused preserve, featuring approximately 4.5 miles of dedicated horse trails. Plans also include a destination-quality “Adventure Playscape,” a shelter house, a bathroom building, and designated parking areas for each core zone of the park. The greenway will run parallel to the horse trails, starting with a natural surface and eventually being paved as part of the full greenway buildout. |
