Description:

The City of San Leandro is seeking bids for PWSC Replace Fuel Tanks, Project No. 2020.3600. The work to be done consists of removal and replacement of the existing underground fuel tanks, piping and fuel dispensers, and doing all appurtenant work in place and ready for use, in accordance with the plans and specificiations within the bid.

PRE-BID CONFERENCES: Mandatory in-person pre-bid conferences will be held on Thursday, January 9, 2025 at 9:00 am and Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at 9:00 am at the Public Works Service Center, located at 14200 Chapman Rd, San Leandro. The information presented at the conferences will be identical, all bidders must attend one of the pre-bid conference and sign the attendance sheet. A firm that didn’t attend the pre-bid conference isn’t qualified to bid on the project.

Bidders who download the plans are encouraged to contact the City of San Leandro Engineering and Transportation Department at 510-577-3428 to be placed on the project planholder’s list to receive courtesy notifications of addenda and other project information. Project addenda, if any, will be posted on the website. A bidder who fails to address all project addenda in its proposal may be deemed non-responsive.

Qualifications:

CONTRACTOR’S LICENSE: A “Class A” with Hazardous Certificate Contractor’s License is required for this work. No bid will be accepted from a contractor who has not been licensed in accordance with Chapter 9, Division 3 of the California Business and Professions Code.
