Radon Mitigation System

The Ohio Veterans Home-Sandusky is seeking quotes for a radon mitigation system, to cover 13 areas. OVH is requesting recommendations on a proper mitigation system (fans, piping, etc). We are requesting work to start as early as April 1st, 2025, but no later than May 1st, 2025, with a completion date of no later than June 1st, 2025. Suppliers must be certified/licensed by the State of Ohio to mitigate radon, and must provide proof of license from the Ohio Department of Health.
Post-Mitigation Process & Reporting - Retesting of all 13 areas to ensure safe occupation, Supplier must provide measurement reports to OVH.
Supplier must give 1 year Warranty for all work rendored.
The Supplier is to provide information on annual maitenance and/or preventative Maintenance that is recommended.

A mandatory site visit will be held at the Location to survey the facility and discuss the scope of work. The site visit will commence promptly at 11:00am on 03/12/2025, after signing in at the Police Department. Failure to attend the site visit will render that Supplier's proposal non-responsive and ineligible for award.

All questions and submissions are to be submitted via OhioBuys. Proposals must be on company letterhead. Bids will be evaluated and awarded based on a point system, as determined by the agency. The evaluation criteria is listed in the Scope of work.
Each Offeror must submit a technical proposal and cost proposal as part of its total Proposal before the solicitation closing date.
