If a wheelchair is provided to passenger by Contractor, will the passenger return wheelchair to Contractor at drop-off location or is Contractor expected to remain onsite?
See 4.4.7 in the PWS
Per 4.4.8.5. are drivers expected to provide medical assistance? It would seem that this type of service aligns with BLS or ALS transportation.
Drivers will need to know the basis medical CPR.
Per 4.4.8.5. what training is expected for oxygen administration?
Knowledge of how to hold a canister within the vehicle is required.
What time threshold before a scheduled pickup will a cancellation be billable? Is dispatching of a vehicle the only threshold for billing purposes?
See 4.5.2. in the PWS for cancellations.

The incumbent is Battles Transportation, Inc., contract #36C24523A0032.
How many vehicles are typically utilized daily to fulfill the scope of services?
The vendor must be able to run a minimum of 4 trips at one time. A typical month of one-way transports averages 2,700 trips.
Is an onsite coordinator currently utilized? Does the VA prefer that Contractor provide onsite staff member(s)?
Contractor should have a Lead Driver onsite to facilitate transports and fill in when short staffed.
Are you able to provide a heat map for volume by stated county or any other historical transportation data?
