The City Wide Pavement Marking Project 2026?2027

The City of Mt. Vernon is seeking bids for the City Wide Pavement Marking Project for 2026–2027. The project consists of repainting approximately 77,898 lineal feet of 4-inch pavement markings throughout the City to maintain roadway visibility and safety.

• Bid Opening: Immediately following the deadline at City Hall, Room 100

Submission Requirements

• Sealed bids must be clearly marked on the outside of the envelope:

• Include all required forms and documentation. Incomplete submissions may be rejected.

• The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or any part thereof.
• All contracts for the construction of Public Works are subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12).
