Wilson Farm Park Improvements

Project Description: INVITATION FOR BIDS FOR THE WILSON FARM PAK PARK IMPROVEMENTS PW2024-08 TREDYFFRIN TOWNSHIP CHESTER COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA Tredyffrin Township will receive bids from qualified contractors for the Wilson Farm Park – Park Improvements – Tredyffrin Township Project PW2024-008. All documents and solicitation details are available at no cost through PennBid electronic Bidding service (www.PennBid.net). All bids must be submitted electronically before 10:00 AM EST on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at which time they will be opened and read aloud. Each Bid must be submitted accompanied by a Bid Guaranty in the amount of Ten Percent (10%) of the total amount Bid. The Bid Guarantee must be in the form of Cash, Corporate Bid Bond, Bank Check, Cashier’s Check or Treasurer’s Check, drawn to the order of Tredyffrin Township. The proceeds thereof will be retained by Tredyffrin Township as liquidated damages if the successful bidder fails to execute this Contract as set forth in the attached Proposal, General Conditions, Special Provisions, Construction Drawings, and Specifications. A bidder’s personal check or noncertified corporate check is not an acceptable form of bid security. The surety firm must be licensed to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. A copy of the bid guarantee must be scanned and submitted electronically. In addition a paper copy must be mailed to: Dave Duda Capitol Project Manager - Public Works Tredyffrin Township 1100 DuPortail Road Berwyn, Pennsylvania 19312-1079 Bid packages consisting of the Proposal Form, General Conditions, Special Provisions, Construction Drawings, and Specifications may be obtained on the PennBid website. All workmen performing work on this project shall be paid the general minimum Bacon Davis Wage Rates supplied herein, as determined by the Secretary of the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry, in accordance with the Regulations for Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. A mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held at the project site at 11:00 AM on Thursday, November 7, 2024.
