Solicitation Summary
The County Commissioners of Kent County, Maryland are requesting proposals from qualified bidders to supply and deliver water and wastewater treatment chemicals to multiple water and wastewater treatment plants/facilities in various locations throughout the County. A five (5)-year Master Contract with the option to renew will be initiated based upon mutual agreement between the County and Contractor, and in accordance with Chapter 49 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Kent County (CPLL).
A pre-bid meeting will be held on September 10th, 2025 beginning at 10:00 a.m. in the meeting room of the Public Works Complex at 709 Morgnec Road, Chestertown, Maryland 21620. All questions and inquiries regarding the terms of this RFP should be submitted in writing to the Director of Purchasing (Daniel F. Mattson, Director of Public Works) via email at dmattson@kentgov.org no later than 12:00 pm/Noon on September 16th, 2025. All bids will be opened and publicly read by designated County staff at 10:00 a.m. on September 24th, 2025 , at the Public Works Complex stated above.
