Solicitation Summary
MDOT MTA is gathering market research from technology vendors offering a next-generation, comprehensive software solution to support ADA paratransit demand-response and related passenger transportation services in Maryland. Vendor responses to this Request for Information (RFI) may be used by MDOT MTA to inform its preparation of a Request for Proposal (RFP) and scope of work for such a solution.
MDOT MTA is particularly interested in solutions which are cloud-based, require a limited IT on-premise infrastructure footprint, provide robust security and data integrity, can be easily accessed by users with standard web browsers, and do not require downtime for patching and upgrades.
With this RFI, MDOT MTA is also looking to identify potential technology partners that have proven examples of deploying their technology for larger transit systems and have excelled with initial and ongoing support.
