Overview
Summary

The Town of Manchester is soliciting creative sign proposals for a new linear neighborhood park plaza which surrounds the perimeter of the former Nathan Hale school. The school, which is in the hands of a private developer, will sit in the center of this public access linear park plaza. It is important that the final sign designs reflect the feel of the new park.

Background

As part of a repurpose school project, the park/playground greenspace around the former school building has been upgraded to community linear/pocket park to benefit the neighborhood and build upon the successful initiatives facilitated over the past 15 years by the Office of Neighborhood and Families (i.e public farmers markets, community gardens and family/community events). The sign project location is 160 Spruce Street. The school has been transferred over to a private developer who will turn the building into 40 market rate apartments.
