Description

This notice is published IAW FAR Subpart 5.2, Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions.





The U.S Customs and Border Protection intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for the procurement of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Fines, Penalties and Forfeitures Seized Property Facilities for San Diego has a requirement for narcotics destruction. CBP shall allow the vendor into the facility to destroy unlimited amounts of seized narcotics and other seized material in a non-retrievable and environmentally safe disposal system. CBP is governed by the Seized Asset Management Enforcement Procedures Handbook (SAMEPH) which mandates CBP Officers witness the destruction of all seized Narcotics and Controlled Substances. The services are being procured IAW the stated salient characteristics included in the Statement of Work (SOW). It is the intent of CBP to procure commercially available services.





The NAICS code applicable to this acquisition is 562211 – Hazardous Waste Treatment and Disposal which has a size standard of $47 Million Dollars.





It is anticipated that a firm-fixed-price, contract will be awarded using simplified acquisition procedures.





It is anticipated that a Request for Quotations (RFQ) will be issued via the System for Award Management (SAM) as a total small business set-aside.





The solicitation documents will be issued on or about 10 March, 2025.





All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency.





In order to be considered for award, vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov. Vendors not already registered in SAM are strongly encouraged to register as soon as possible.
