NOTICE OF INTENT TO JOIN COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT
Medicaid Management Information System Provider Services (MMIS)
Notice is hereby given that the State of New Jersey intends to enter into a publically advertised
cooperative purchasing agreement for a Provider Services Module that is part of the overall
initiative to replace aging legacy components of the Medicaid enterprise.
Under N.J.S.A. 52:34-6.2, the State of New Jersey is authorized to join competitively bid and
awarded cooperative purchasing agreements.
The State of New Jersey anticipates joining the Medicaid Management Information System
Provider Services (MMIS) – Provider Services Module Contract led by the lead state of Montana.
The State of New Jersey expects to award a contract to the contractor awarded a Master
Agreement by the Lead State that also meets New Jersey compliance requirements and execute
a New Jersey Participating Addendum.

The Medicaid Management Information System Provider Services (MMIS) contract has an
expiration of May 28, 2025, with the option to extend up to three (3) years.
A comment period will be available until the close of business on April 29, 2024. To ensure that
your comment is received, it must be submitted to the Division of Purchase and Property’s Hearing
Unit at dpp.protest@treas.nj.gov.
