REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL
2025 WATERLINE DISTRIBUTION NETWORK MASTER PLANNING
Sealed proposals for a treated water distribution master planning initiative will be received in the office of the Public Works Director at the City Service Center, 110 West Progress Circle, Cortez, CO 81321 until 3:00 PM MDT on Wednesday, March 26, 2025. This project seeks to create a collection of guiding documents that will assist in the effective operation and maintenance of the treated water distribution system from the City’s water treatment plant to the end users.
The selected consultant shall comply with the requirements of all applicable federal, state, and local laws without limitation, and shall apply to this RFP and any subsequent contract as though incorporated herein by reference.

A minimum of three (3) hard copies and (1) soft copy PDF (USB drive) shall be submitted to the department of Public Works. Proposals shall be received by the City No Later Than 3:00 p.m. MDT, on Wednesday, March 26, 2025. Proposals shall be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked on the outside with “City of Cortez - 2025 Waterline Distribution Network Master Planning” and with the name of the proposer.
The City reserves the right to waive any formality or any informality in the process of awarding this proposal. The City reserves the right to accept any proposal, in whole or in part, and to reject any or all proposals if it be deemed in the best interest of the City to do so.
