City of Davis Request for Proposals Community Skate Park Replacement, CIP No. ET0027

NOTE: THIS RFP IS ONLY OPEN TO THOSE FIRMS THAT WERE DEEMED “PREQUALIFIED” BY THE CITY DURING ITS 2024 PREQUALIFICATION PROCESS

The City of Davis is seeking proposals from pre-qualified firms to design and build a replacement skate park at the existing Community Park Skate Park location. The selected firm will be required to: 1) enter into an Agreement for Contract Services with the City of Davis; 2) design a proposed skate park with input from Community users and prepare appropriate construction documents; 3) build a skate park based on the firm’s proposal; and 4) complete the construction on-time and on-budget. The engineer’s estimate is $1,000,000 for design and construction of this project.

The contract will commence at the date the agreement is signed, and the anticipation is that 60% plans and specifications will be ready for City approval in August 2025 for proceeding into a Fall 2025 through Spring 2026 construction phase.
