EST, Thursday, December 19, 2024. Proposals should be emailed to Anne McAllister, Business Officer, at amcallister@nhcgov.com. The subject line should contain "RFP # 25-0239 ROOFTOP SOLAR PANEL DESIGN & INSTALLATION." New Hanover County’s Recycling and Solid Waste Department is seeking proposals from quali?ed contractors to complete turn-key solar (PV) system including, but not limited to permit, design, and installation of rooftop solar (PV) panels at the landfill’s wastewater treatment plant building. Installation shall occur on the south-facing roof slope of the building and include sufficient panel generation capacity to consistently deliver a minimum of 1.0 kW (850 kWh annually). Approximate square footage of rooftop is 2,000 sq. ft. Installation shall include connection to the local power utility in a “net metering” arrangement. Instructions for submitting Proposals and complete requirements and information may be obtained by clicking the RFP link under "Documents" tab.
