Bid Description:
The City of Montpelier, Vermont will receive bids for the reconstruction of the Sparrow Farm Trail in the North Branch Park, following damages from the July, 2023 flooding. Bids will be accepted until Friday, June 27th at 12:00pm at which time and place all bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud. See bid documents for full details.

NOTE: the bid is uploaded into 3 parts due to file size restrictions.

Important Dates
-Friday, June 20th at 9:45am: Pre-bid walk through. Begins at the Montpelier Pool parking lot. Estimated time 1 hour.
-Monday, June 23rd at 1pm: Pre-bid Q&A on Microsoft Teams.
-Friday, June 27th at 12pm: Bids Due. The Base Bid Form (page 11 on attachment), along with any supplemental materials, must be emailed to Alec Ellsworth at aellsworth@montpelier-vt.org prior to the above date and time with “Lower Sparrow Farm Trail Flood Repair Bid” in the subject line.
- Wednesday, July 9th: Bid award at Montpelier City Council.
- Friday, October 31st: All work must be complete.

Site visit time is 9:45 (not 9:30 as indicated, 9:45 was not an option given).

A pre-bid walk-through with Parks Director Alec Ellsworth will be provided on Friday, June 20th at 9:45am. The walk will begin at the Montpelier Pool Parking lot off of Elm Street. The walk-through will last approximately 60 minutes. The walk-through is not mandatory, but it will be important for bidders to understand the scope of the work If you cannot make that date, please reach out to schedule an alternative walk-through time and we will do our best to do 1 additional walk-through that we will publicly noticed. This walkthrough will be immediately preceded by the pre-bid walk-through for the Gould Hill Rd. Bridge Project.
