Synopsis:

Submissions clearly marked "COR6937 - Mid-Size Landfill Dozer", in the header line, will be received by the City of Regina, via email at procurement@regina.ca, no later than 2:00 p.m. Central Standard Time, on Tuesday, January 7, 2025.

The City is seeking firm pricing for supply and delivery of one (1) Mid-Size Landfill Dozer with a Service Maintenance Agreement (SMA) included.

Unless otherwise indicated, and subject to applicable exceptions and exclusions, this procurement is covered by:

•Chapter 5 of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement

•Chapter 19 of the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement

•Article 14 of the New West Partnership Trade Agreement

There will not be a public opening however the list of firm names who submitted a response will be posted to the Sasktenders website.

Additional Information:

The City requires one (1) Mid-Size Landfill Dozer for year-round service in and around the City’s sanitary landfill. The equipment class and size of the engine must be 200 Hp, Tier IV final diesel. The unit must be equipped with refuse handling package, dozer blade and all-weather cab. The "Service Maintenance" term is to be 5 years or 10,000 service hours, whichever occurs first.

The desired specifications set forth the requirements for a mid-size landfill dozer intended for the City’s major sanitary landfill operation. The landfill dozer plays a key role in the material handling operations of the landfill both in terms of routine site management and as a duty mandated by provincial legislation. Dozers are expected to perform in all weather conditions with seasonal extremes ranging from -40°C to + 40°C.

The mid-size landfill dozer shall be equipped with all the manufacturer’s equipment and accessories which are included as standard in the advertised and published literature for the unit. No such item of equipment or accessories shall be removed or omitted for the reason that it was not specified in the RFP.

The successful proponent is to provide manuals and catalogues, spare parts and training as per the requirements listed in Appendix A – Form of Agreement.
