Description:

The Town requests bids from prequalified contractors capable of providing the necessary planning, excavation, and hauling services to remove and dispose of a Construction & Demolition (C&D) Debris stockpile located at 2590 North Hartland Road in Hartford.

The Town shall not conduct a pre-bid meeting. Contractors should conduct their own site within the normal operating hours and days of the Transfer Facility and review the project location and site conditions to develop questions for submission in writing. Questions should be submitted by 3:00 PM local E.S.T. on Friday November 8, 2024.

Written responses will be prepared by the Town and provided via email to all bidders by 3:00 PM local E.S.T. on Wednesday November 20, 2024.

Bids are due by 12:00 PM E.S.T. on Wednesday November 27, 2024. and shall be sealed, properly addressed with the name of the Bidder and sent to:

Qualifications:

• Asbestos Licensure: Bidders must include copies of their asbestos management related entity licenses and personnel certificates.

• Permitted Waste Transportation Vehicles: Bidders must include copies of valid Waste Hauler’s Permits for each vehicle to be utilized in the transportation of the waste materials in compliance with Vermont 10 V.S.A. § 6607a.

• Transporter ID Number: All bidders must include proof of a Transporter ID. Vermont only issues Transporter IDs to legal entities such as active corporations (Inc. or LLC) registered to do business in Vermont, or to sole proprietors (individuals). Bids submitted by a corporation must include proof of a current and active Vermont registration.
