The City of Woodstock, Illinois will receive sealed bids for the Woodstock Stage Left Renovation Project.
The project consists of interior renovation of the Stage Left space adjacent to the Woodstock Opera House, including selective demolition, architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, lighting, and associated improvements.
Bids will be received until 10:00 AM on June 16, 2026, at:

Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud immediately thereafter.
A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on June 8, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the project site.
The Contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder, with award anticipated on June 30, 2026.
This project is funded in part through the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO) RISE Implementation Grant Program and is subject to all applicable State of Illinois grant requirements.
The Contractor shall comply with apprenticeship utilization requirements associated with the RISE grant, including a target of 10 percent of total labor hours performed by apprentices.
This Project is subject to State of Illinois Business Enterprise Program (BEP) participation requirements. The established participation goals for this Contract are:

12% Women Business Enterprise and/or Persons with Disabilities Business Enterprise participation (WBE/PBE)
Only firms currently certified through the Illinois Commission on Equity and Inclusion (CEI) BEP Program will be counted toward participation goals.
All bidders must comply with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130).
Each bid shall be accompanied by bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid amount.
Contractors are advised that Substantial Completion for this project is September 15, 2026, per the executed Agreement (A101 §3.3).

The City of Woodstock reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities.
