Summary

The Lea County Board of County Commissioners is requesting proposals from qualified vendors to provide entertainment booking services at the Lea County Fair in Lovington, New Mexico, July 30 - August 9, 2026. Award will be for an initial two (2) years, with an option to renew for two (2) additional years. The Lea County Fair & Rodeo is generally held the first full week of August . Award will be for a Multi-Term contract.

New Mexico is an open carry state for firearms and has enacted a concealed permit statute. The State Constitution states, "No municipality or county shall regulate, in any way, an incident of the right to keep and bear arms." Lea County owns and operates the Lea County Fairgrounds.
