Scope of Services
The City of Altamonte Springs is requesting to waive the solicitation process and approve Eutek Systems, Inc. d/b/a Hydro International Wastewater, Inc. as a sole source vendor for the purchase of one (1) Grit Slurry Cup and associated parts for the City`s Regional Water Reclamation Facility (RWRF) headworks. The grit slurry cup serves as critical infrastructure to remove grit, sand, and abrasive material from raw wastewater and is necessary to protect downstream equipment and ensure reliable wastewater treatment.

Hydro International is the original equipment manufacturer of the slurry cup which was installed during the 2016 Headworks Improvements project. Hydro International is the only source in the U.S. for authorized service technicians and OEM replacement parts and equipment.

Please contact the below Procurement staff if you can provide the good/service or can respond with an alternate solution that overcomes the sole source reasons stated on the Notice of Intent document.
