Project Description: The Work includes cleaning and investigative closed-circuit television (CCTV) inspection of approximately 540 linear feet of 24-inch brick pipeline and 230 linear feet of 27-inch brick pipeline not previously inspected. • The Work includes approximately 11,393 linear feet of cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) lined sanitary sewers ranging in diameter from 8- to 36-inch. The following CIPP liner insertion and curing methods shall be allowed for the pipeline diameter ranges included below:

The Work includes the application of geopolymer lining in 49 sanitary manholes, totaling approximately 404 vertical feet.
Appurtenant Work includes modification to manhole risers on North Main St (Connecticut State Highway 12) to allow installation of 24- to 36-inch CIPP liners, including but not limited to saw cutting asphalt and concrete road base, excavation, support of excavation, demolition of existing manhole riser, installation of cast-in-place concrete support collar, installation of new precast concrete manhole riser and flat top slab, installation brick course adjuster and new frame and cover with 30-inch diameter opening, installation of non-shrink grout to seal brick riser to new precast riser, backfill, compaction, and permanent pavement repair of trenches; pipeline and manhole cleaning; pipeline preparation, including removal of grease, roots, and sediment and grinding or cutting of protruding laterals; control of live sanitary sewer flows by temporary bypass pumping; pipeline pre- and post rehabilitation CCTV inspection, reinstatement of sanitary sewer laterals post-CIPP lining, traffic control, and procuring CTDOT highway encroachment permit to perform work on North Main Street.
