Headquartered in Edmonton, Alberta, EPCOR Utilities Inc. and its subsidiaries (“EPCOR”) in Canada and the United States, build, own and operate electrical, natural gas and water transmission and distribution networks, water and wastewater treatment facilities, sanitary and stormwater systems, and infrastructure in Canada and the United States. The Company also provides electricity, natural gas and water products and services to residential and commercial customers..
EPCOR provides water, wastewater and distribution services to more than one million people in over 85 Western Canadian communities and industrial sites, and private regulated water to Arizona, New Mexico and Texas, serving 39 communities and 17 counties.
EPCOR also provides electricity and natural gas distribution services to residential and commercial customers in Alberta, Ontario and Texas.
Headquartered in Edmonton, Alberta, EPCOR Water Services Inc. (“EPCOR”) provides quality water and wastewater services to over 50 communities and counties across Western Canada. Through a wholly-owned subsidiary, EPCOR also provides quality water and wastewater services to communities located in the Southwestern United States. EPCOR’s water products and services are concentrated in three areas: retail water sales, wholesale water sales and commercial services.
Edmonton's first water treatment plant was constructed at Rossdale in 1903. In 1996, Edmonton Water was incorporated as a separate legal entity, renamed Aqualta Inc., and began managing the City of Edmonton's Water Branch assets. In 1998, these assets were transferred to EPCOR Utilities Inc., and in 1999 the company became EPCOR Water Services Inc.
1.2        RFP Overview
While this Request for Proposal (“RFP”) is issued by EPCOR, all services, equipment, prices, terms and conditions, presentations and promotional materials contained in any submission (the “Reply”, as defined below) may, at EPCOR’s sole discretion, apply to any or all of the EPCOR Entities (as defined below).
The intent of this RFP is to find a Successful Proponent capable of providing the Work described immediately below. A more detailed description of the Work can be found in Appendix 1 (Information).

EPCOR makes no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy or completeness of the information contained in this RFP. The Proponent is responsible for making its own evaluation of information and data contained in this RFP and in preparing and submitting its Reply.
