| Description: | The project extends Leesburg Road from W. Jefferson Boulevard to the intersection of W. Main Street and Leesburg Road, where a new roundabout will be constructed. The existing section of Leesburg Road that crosses Junk Ditch and ties into W. Main Street will be removed, along with an old pedestrian bridge downstream. A new crossing of Junk Ditch will be built on a realigned section using a three-sided small structure. The roadway will feature 11-foot travel lanes, curb and gutter, a 5-foot sidewalk, and storm sewer with drainage swales. |
